It’s Time for DAC again

In the EDA world there’s one event that draws most vendors and major users to one location, and that’s the annual DAC conference and exhibit planned for next week in Austin, Texas. I visit DAC each year and just got around to posting all of my trip reports from 2016 here. For sure I’ll be talking to the big three in EDA (Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys), plus others that catch my fancy especially if they do transistor-level design tools.

If you’re attending DAC then make sure to be at the Sunday night kick-off reception and the Gary Smith EDA events.

Exhibits are open from Monday through Wednesday, and there are plenty of interesting Keynote presentations, technical papers and panel discussions. It’s really a three-ring circus in terms of more events competing for you time, and there’s no way that one person can cover the entire event.

I’ll be blogging on SemiWiki.com about my DAC, then adding links and a summary blog here.
